new chassis is an excitingdevelopment in the
motorhome industry, but an oldfavorite chassis with some impressivenew parts is also certain to piqueRVers interest. Such is the case withthe Ford F-53 chassis used for Class Amotorhomes. Its upgrades furtherrefine and define its operatingcapabilities, and the Admiral SE30PDD from Holiday RamblerCorporation (HRC) presented our first chance to experience the chassis for ourselves.
The Admiral SE is at the lower
end of the HRC product lineup, and the 30PDD is the new smalleraddition to the Admiral series. Itssmall enough to be easy and fun
to drive, but large enough to offer a full-featured interior and completecomfort accommodations. In addition,its built using the same HRC assem-bly techniques as its higher-pricedbrethren. Thats a nice feature to be aware of when making a $95,549(as tested) investment.

Galley is well executed, but counterspace in the 30-footer is at a premium.Straightforward drivers compartment is designed for long-range comfort.
